Origin · craft · care
Hardwood decks and timber features for Rio.
We design, build, repair and maintain rooftop decks, pool surrounds, terraces and garden spaces—asking which origin records apply, using timber precisely and planning for future care from the start.

Experience
Building decks in Rio since 2011.
We combine practical experience, technical precision and selected Brazilian hardwoods to create outdoor spaces made for the long term.

Material · True ipê
Why true ipê earns its place in a deck.
True ipê is naturally dense, hard and durable. That performance demands sharp carbide tools, pre-drilled fixings, correct drainage and patient setting-out—the material and the construction system have to work together.

Documented timber origin
Madeira Legal begins before timber reaches the site.
Madeira de lei describes valued hardwood; it is not proof of origin. Evidence of legal origin requires the applicable authorisation to be valid and the declared species, quantity, transport record and invoice to agree.

Rooftop logistics
Access is assessed before materials arrive.
When full-length boards do not fit lifts or stairwells, we can plan controlled external lifting where building rules and site conditions permit.

Structure and fixings
The work below the surface is specified for the site.
Levels, drainage and exposure are resolved before the visible boards. We use massaranduba for support and screws instead of nails, with grade 304 or 316 stainless steel selected for the setting.

Documented rebuild
An 87.75m² elevated deck rebuilt in Rio.
The team rebuilt the supporting structure and finished terrace at a working height of five metres.
- 54 beams
- ≈70kg each
- 5+ tonnes of timber
- ≈45 days demolition to finish

Pools and spas
Decking can follow curves, corners and changing levels.
Steps, seating, storage, service access, planters and lighting can be integrated into the same project.
09 / 13
Rooftops and terraces
Circulation, transitions and railings are planned together.
The layout accounts for doors, stairs, views and level changes so the finished space is practical to use and maintain.

Renovation and care
Existing timber can be repaired, prepared and renewed.
We inspect before coating, make local repairs where practical and select a compatible low-build oil finish for the timber and its exposure.

Architectural timber
Façades, screens and pergolas use the same site-specific approach.
We also build wall cladding, privacy screens, soffits, railings, stairs and planters in selected hardwood.

Interior joinery
Custom cabinetry and floorboards extend the work indoors.
Built-in wardrobes, shelving and residential floorboards are made to suit the room, storage needs and existing finishes.

Initial assessment
Send photos, approximate dimensions and the project location.
Three to five images are enough for us to review the space, identify likely constraints and suggest the next step.
